Siamesed headers?

has anyone ever siamesed thier headers in any way, or do headers ever have any sort of plenum that could be like the reverse of the intake plenum?? this is just me with too much thinking time, but hey maybe thats a good thing.

Well it would definitely make changing spark plugs even worse. Not to mention the added area for metal to heat soak the engine bay. Wouldn't siamesing be one or two steps back towards the old factory log style manifold?

Most I've seen done is stepped primaries with a central spread collector area.

NOTE: Those are HEADMAN HUSTLER HEADERS # 65180 off an old ebay auction, so you better save the pics if you like them. They'll only be there for another 60 days or so.

Those headers look badass! Are they for 350's?

Tri-y headers. Somewhat the same principle as the intake, reversed. Actually, headers in general are the same reversed. The siamesing does not go all the way to the head ports. The headers come out and all merge into the collector (plenum equivalent)... but the tri-y's are what I think you were talking about... unless you meant siamesing just outside of the exhaust port... which really wouldn't be 'just like the intake' and really wouldn't make any sense at all.

Yes, I believe they are. They take the special STAHL type adapters seen on the floor in the photo. The primaries are around 2" I believe with a 3.5" collector. I'll get the auction link for you tomorrow.

If you're talking about the headers in the pics, they're not Tri-Y's, they're flat 4-into-1s.
