Recorded my camaro (with cutout)
It's a bit more raw sounding with the cutout open. The engine is fully warmed up this time, so the idle has smoothed out in these clips.
On the long version I close the cutout, but in the video I boost up the audio so you can still hear the idle, I had to initialy turn the audio down in the camera so that it wouldn't get so fuzzy when the cutout was open.
Short version is for those of yall on a slower connection, startup, rev and a little bit of idle with the cutout open.
Cutout is a Mccord Powerplate and 3 inch Jegs cutout pipe.

thats odd, only 204-214@50?
Good idle, Good low end torque and pulling power, Power range 1000-4500 RPM-Hyd.
the advertized 278 288 prolly has some to do ..

Spectre, I also have 1.6 ratio rockers, that boosts the lift a little bit, but not much I think.
When I was looking for what cam to go with, I wanted low-end power, noticable idle, and good milage. Apparently this is one of the few cams that fits that bill from what people told me. I asked here on TGO, as well as other forums, the MTC-1 was suggested several places.
It didn't work to well with my TPI intake though, but once I went to a carbureted setup everything is fine.

wow, thats impressive, i figured it had more duration than that...that sounds relatively lumpy, i can't wait till i get my XE276HR, 224/230 at .050, and .503/.510 lift...that should sound pretty mean, i'm getting really excited to get mine fired up and running...

Thats the cam i used to have then sold it before i got to put it in. Now i went out and bought a different one its the Performer RPM cam. Heres the specs 234/238 at .050 and .539/.548 lift 112 lobe sep and its on a 107 intake centerline. Cant wait i love hearing cams thump drool. Right now its got the comp cam 262HR and its puny. Hey dude car sounds great i give u props. Would have never guessed a melling cam would sound that good.
