88 trans am headers and Y-pipe???

I am looking for headers and a Y-pipe for my 88 trans am. Has the 350 5.7 engine. Part number 68470 for the headers from hedman seems to work but they say that you have to modify the AC bracket. I have enough work ahead of me. i dont want to be playing with a bracket - unless its that easy. Can someone clarify this for me. I need a headers and Y-pipe that will bolt up and clear everything. I am running no cat and will weld exhaust to ypipe. I am not up to spending 300-400 for a headers from SLP. I just want that basic stuff with a little more flow. My ypipe keep cracking weld after weld and im tired of it so im just gunna do the whole thing. Get back to me. thanks

ok - I just found out those headers will work. That ac bracket is a stupid bar that runs from ac and bolts to headers for stability (but i dont need it cuz ac pump getting taken out anyways). So to update the question, i need a ypipe that bolts to these headers. i have a part number from flow tec but the pipe is 2.5" and that even if it bolts up. Does anyone know of a ypipe that will fit??? Or do i have to custom make myself a Y-pipe. ???

i bought the Flowtech shorties and had my exhaust man whip up a nice Y pipe. Looks great, he used 2" off the collector and did a real nice transition into the single 3" pipe.

weather permitting i might be able to snap some pics...

2" is a bit small, but he was being stubborn that day, i'm swapping out for a set of LT's and gonna make him run me some TD's
