Flowmaster dual in/dual out
I will be redoing my exhaust soon and the setup I am planning is twin, full length 2-1/2" diameter tubing, with a 2-1/4" diameter crossover, and a Flowmaster dual 2-1/2" in/out muffler with twin tailpipes out one side. The problem I have run into is that with this routing (both together over the axle and next to eachother around the rear body pan and out the drivers side) I either need to run two in-line mufflers, or get a dual inlet/dual outlet muffler. I want to get a Flowmaster 80series muffler but I did a search on here, looked at flowmaster's site, and did a search on google and cant find any 80 series dual inlet/dual outlet mufflers.
Does the 80 series dual inlet/dual outlet actually exist or am I stuck running two separate in line crappy mufflers?
P.S. I like the dual pipes out the driver's side because it gives it a nostalgic 2nd gen look.

Ok, so let me see if I understand what you are wanting. You are looking for a muffler that has dual in/dual outs on it. So you can have 2 pipes coming in on say the passanger side and 2 pipes going out on the driver side. Am I correct on what you want?
Here is a pic of what I think your looking for:

If that's what your looking for, here is the specs on it from Edelbrock....
RPM Series
Mufflers
Dual Inlet 2.5 in.
Dual Outlet 2.5 in.
Case Dimensions 3.625 in. x 9.125 in. x 22.5 in.
Reversible
Oh yeah, the 80 series muffler is only a single inlet/dual outlet "transverse" muffler. Another route you could go is a single inlet muffler that has dual outlets on 1 side. Flows much better than the transverse muffler and sound wicked. Hell, Flowmaster carries a cat back system with that configuration.

I've heard some behind a healthy small block an it didn't sound bad but that was their single/single RPM muffler. Not sure how the dual one will sound. Also, it's pricy.
