quietest performance muffler
I know most will wonder whats wrong with me, but my car is just too loud. I have an SLP exhaust. 2 on the left. Whenever i'm on the parkway its usually next to a concrete divider. whether moving or in traffic it just gets to me. I can't even take my car without waking half the neighbors. The problem is compounded by the fact i just bought a nice quiet new car. So now i have lost what tolerance i builtup over the last 2 1/2 years. I want a new quieter (not silent!) muffler so i can speak to my passenger and order food through the drive thru. I would till like a nice throaty rumble at full throttle too. Does anybody have a suggestion? Did i mention i have hearing damage too? I need help.

did your hearing damage come from your exhaust? I have 25% hearing loss in both ears (born that way, supposed to wear hearing aids )
If so, you really should have changed your exhaust a long while ago lol.

I bought a 3" cat back through JC Whitney when they were $129.00, now they are about $229.00. They sound good outside the car but it's quiet inside and still got decent performance gain that you could feel in the pants! It's funny though, all the guy's/girls think it's stock and don't have crap! but they find out real quick, right off the line!

I thought about the dynomax but i would like a 3" in and at least 2 2 1/2 out or 1 3 out. to further complicate things i want it in stainless. i would however take a flowmaster (heavy gauge) but i'm not sure how loud it would be in comparison. i like the mufflex style single hidden 3" exhaust.

The flowmaster Force II catback system that I have is pretty quiet, it's a 3" in and a single 3" out.
