I am going to keep the headers on it now (finally decided) and probably have them coated.

I am going to run dual 2 1/2 inch pipe from both headers to the passenger side.

Then I am going to use the Moroso Spiral Flows and install them in the area where a stock cat would be.

Then I am going to run the dual 2 1/2 as far back toward the axle as possible (sort of, but pretty far, you 'll get the idea)

Then there will be a Flowmaster y-collector ( already have one) merging the dual 2 1/2 inch pipes to one 3 inch.

The 3 inch will run over the axle and to a SLP Loudmouth with the single 3 1/2 inch tips.

Now it might seem like I am wasting a bunch of stainless by cutting the Loudmouth, but I may use the pipe for other projects.

SOME of you may say: "you are gonna lose power bottlenecking that pipe into 3 inch back by the axle."

I have Longtubes, a 3 inch y-pipe that goes way back and a 3 inch Borla on my 4th gen making 400rwhp.

Therefore, I know the bottleneck may lose me a couple hp, but it won't be substantial. Plus the exhaust gases will have slowed considerably by that point and it shouldn't be a big deal.

Anyway, I have decided that my car would look titz lowered about 2 inches, and there is no way that I could retain the side exhaust if I do that.

When you take you exhaust off could you take a couple of pics so I could see what they look like. I know someone who could bend the pipe up but Ineed a pic of them so he gets it right. Thanks

Yeah, I can, but it'll be a while......like months.

I have to wait until the next time I go back to Hawaii.

I would really like to see this setup with some 3.5" or 3" or 3.5" oval tube and/or flowmaster Toptens/maybe oval spintechs? My 3.5" collectors are going to force me to put the stock front springs back on.

If I have 3" of ground clearance thats enough. This is the exact way I want to run my exhaust.

To tell you the truth, the guy who did the exhaust didn't really tuck it up as high as he could have, so you could run a ROUND 3 or 3.5 inch pipe and get 3 inches of clearance, easy.

Even at the lowest point, shown in the pictures above, I still have about 5 inches.

If you were to either notch the frame of just put a sizable dent in the pipe at the point where you have to come under the frame rail on the driver's side, you should still have some clearance.

Tell them to chill out and just do it.

I have zero heat problems.

Are they talking about the floorboards getting hot after the system is done?

Or when they go to weld it?

Either way, no problem.

BTW: If you are using bullets, you setup is going to be insanely loud. I hope you are ready for it.

My guess is you will be really excited about it for the first couple weeks and then want to change mufflers soon thereafter.

The louder the better

Btw...is it possible to run an actual true dual system all the way through without having to go back to single. I really want a true dual but don't really want to go with the side exits cuz my car is dropped already and I barely have ground clearance as it is. Thanks.

well as for an update i haven't gotten it done im doing it tomorrow hopefully altho i dropped my car with dropzone lowering springs and it got hella low so i am pretty sure that i cannot do the side exit any more so most likely i will be doing true dual still altho i will have the bullets right beside the torque arm and dumping em right before the rear axle should be damn loud i will take pics when i get it done.

So I answered all those questions for nothing?

MAN!

LOL. I am ripping mine apart again so i can lower it too. there is no way i'd drive this setup around on a lowered car.

I hope your setup comes out good.

as for an update i could not go with the side exit or dumps the headers pass side header was ok altho drivers side was leaning and way too angled so i got a custom build y pipe 2.5" off collector into 3 inch then another Y pipe with 2.5" into bullets it sounds really nice not too loud not too quiet really throaty when you get on it.

So you mean you basically got an x-pipe and then put bullets on the end of it?

Take some pics and show it off!

AlbertaFbody, did you get your exhaust done yet? i have my car dropped closed to 2" also, with the eibach sportlines, and i am running a dual system that is going to dump right before the rear axle...and I think i've desided on bullets...i'm gonna have turndowns also, i hope its not rediculously loud, i can handle really loud, but I don't want it to get extremely annoying...i just wnat it to be pretty loud so i can show people whats up...i was thinking of that side exit too, but my dad has side exit on his truck, and it ate into the coating on his rims...so i said screw that, and desided to dump it before the rear axle....i was just wondering if you have it done, and maybe a sound clip, i would just like to hear what it is gonna sound like....do you guys think it will give me that striaght pipe sound just toned down a little bit, is that about right for what its gonna sound like??
