Oil dipstick tube and slp 1 3/4 headers

Hey guys, just wondering about the oil dipstick tube and interference with my new 1 3/4 slp headers. The old headers that are currently on my car put the dipstick tube in a bad spot. Will this happen with the slp's? Has anyone had this problem and what did you do to solve it? Can the stock tube be bent so as to reroute it or is a better solution available? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i had this problem with my edelbrock tes headers with air tubes, auto parts stores sell the flexible dip stick tube for like $80 bucks, so i said forget that, and just bent the tube a bit and it worked fine, it is still sitting on the header a bit, and is also sitting on the a/c canister thing, i thought it would be a problem, but hasnt been a problem for 4 months or so.

Hey that's cool. I thought I heard of flexible tubes but I wasn't sure. I'll have to consider both options since I need a new tube anyway. the one I have has a hole worn in it and the dipstick gets stuck on the way back in which is a pain. Thanks for the info.

mine seem to go fine back in the stock place, i just needed to get a bolt and some washers to space it from hitting the header.

Didn't have to move it a bit on my SLP 1.75" headers.
