Edelbrock Mufflers

Well, I finally heard an Edelbrock muffler on a V8. A couple years ago my father put one on his S-10, but it's only a 4.3 V6. It sounds great compared to stock, it makes the 6 wanna be a big dog 8. But yesturday I got to hear one on a co-worker's truck. Mind you it's not an f-body. It's a 2002ish Dodge Ram, 360 I think. He's got minor upgrades, airflow, ECM, bigger injectors, etc. And he changed just the muffler. - Simply amazing. In my opinion, it's one of the best "street" sounds I have ever heard. Flowmasters are great, but they have their sound they are so famous for, it's kind of everywhere. Edelbrock is what I would suggest to anyone looking, but hasn't decided on a brand yet. Anyone on here with one could probably endorse that or not, but on this truck, WOW, what a deep, bubbly MEAN, growl this thing had. Not overbearing or ear-pearcing. Kinda thinking I shoulda gone that route.

u haven't heard one on an F-body. a friend of mine has a 87 iroc with edelbrock headers and cat back and it's nothing special.

the edelbrock rpm-series mufflers sound GREAT with a nice 3" exhaust and headers. I had one on my old bird (gonna move the catback over to the GTA soon)..

i also had edelbrock cat back on my old LG4 86 iroc with TES headers. it was a lot louder than my 90 and had a deeper growl to it.
