Car: 1983 Camaro
Engine: Lt1 (383 project)
Transmission: 700R4
does cc306 require machining
if i put a cc306 in my lt1, does it REQUIRE machining on the cylinder heads, or can i get away with it for 1 summer, i do plan on fully porting the heads eventually, but i kind of want to put my money to make the thing run first thanks guys

I wouldn't...
I would at least cahnge the valve springs.
I have that cam in my Fourth-gen, and yes, it is a monster. Look at sig....
