I did a search on these two but didn't really find out what I needed to know. From my research I did notice that the two were kinda loud, but I was wondering if anyone knows if one flows better than the other. Somone mentioned that they figured the Moroso's would be restrictive due to the spiral design but the folks that have them say they like them. Anyway does anyone have any comments on this subject about flow or sound? Thanks.

 

I don't have any personal experience with them, but my neighbor raced all season with the moroso- I guess if it's good enough for race cars (truck), then it's good for a street car.

 

Thanks Irocster, I guess he was running the moroso spiral. They must not be restrictive if he ran them on a race car.

 

Well, don't take my work for it. I'm just telling you the only person I know of that runs that muffler. I hear a lot more people talking about the dynomax on here. That doesn't mean the moroso is bad though...probably just not as known since it is classified more as a "race" muffler. I'm sure they flow about the same, and on a street car I really doubt you'll notice if they don't.

 

if you look into a bullet, all you see is the other side..... lol i have bullets on my 406 and they quiet it down but they are still waay too loud for street.... eventually when i get harrassed enough, maybe i will put some flowmasters under it too....lol

 

rick moroso runs moroso spiral muffs on his own race car which has a short stroke, high revving, N/A sbc. las i knew he was running mid/high 8's.

 

I love the way the Bullets flow (no difference in performance between 3" Warlocks uncorked and 3" Bullets emptying into 2-1/2" tailpipes - corked the Warlocks cost me 2 tenths). But, I'm afraid to drive the thing on the street, especially at 7 a.m. or 11:30 p.m.

Interesting (to me, at least) side note: Popular Hot Rodding's "Engine Masters Challenge". This year it's 470 CID max big blocks. Two entries were disqualified for using Bullets because they aren't "street parts" - Dynomax calls them "race only".

let me get this right "1989RS" your tellin me if you get stopped for exhaust being loud, "which only if your an idiot would you get stoped" and get harrassed about how loud it is your gonna put flowermasters on it too, so you would have 2 bullets and 2 flowmasters, to me that overkill and quite gay..
