i found a guy on here who said he had a brand new set of them, they had never been installed but had been sitting in his garage for years. and, he only lived about an hour away from me so, we made a deal and i bought them.

thanks for the compliment. it really didn't cost that much and it was easy....sat inside the office while they did the y-pipe.

they charged me $150 to make the pipe but they welded everything in, i had to cut it in order to run open headers at the track. all they made was off the headers to just past the y. ground clearance is no issue at all. i had to notch out the tranny crossmember on the driver's side so that pipe could sit higher and they flattened the pipe a little on the pass. side to clear the crossmember. it would fit any camaro.

I'm sure it's probably the angle of the picture but, that 'y' doesn't seem to have the smoothest transition to the I-pipe. Does look pretty good though.

just the y-pipe helped out some, the track times showed a small gain. the whole exhaust system, i assume it makes a big difference but i swapped to it when i put in a new motor with hp cam and everything.
