flowmaster Y for dual cat cars...w/n
http://rain.prohosting.com/imwhom/junk/fromaster-y.jpg
If you've never seen it before, there it is. I just figured i'd post this for posterity. If you've ever looked at the stock Y after the cats on a dual cat car, it has 2 1/4 pipes coming from teh cats, into avery ugly near T junction. The flowmaster piece replaces everything afte rthe cats 2/ 2 1/2 pipes and a true 3" Y section. I wish i had a good picture of the stock dual cat set-up i had to show for comparison.
Anyhow, just some photographic proof that the flowmaster cat-back, or at least the Y section, is hands down the best set-up you can get for a dual cat car.
hmmm, the link is right, but it looks like prohosting isn't letting me link directly to pictures anymore. If that doesn't work, the picture is towards the bottom of my home page (click the link in my sig)

Stock except ported plenum and dual cats

- Definitely prototypes, high powered mutants of some kind. Too weird to live, too cool to die

I have a couple questions about dual cats:
1) When you buy headers for an N10 setup, such as Edelbrock TES, do you get a new y-pipe?
2) Is your catback the Force II model? Did it include the better Y-Pipe? Mines only a year and a half old and it didn't.

well,
When you get headers for a dual cat car, you don't get a new Y. If you go to my webpage you can see a picture of an already welded up dual cat set-up for headers. Basically, the headers come w/ lead pipes that you have to hook to the dual cat assembly. You cut it off at the oil pan and down pipe section and weld the new lead pipes on.
I dn't know what the cat back is named, but it's the single 3" muffler / tailpipe flowmaster. Came w/ a 30 series muffler.
