Dumping exhuast @ axle...and othe questions..
1) I was talking to my dad about possible setups for my exhuast that i'll be replacing this winter and mentioned to him the idea of dumping before the axle...now has anyone w/ this kind of setup had problems w/ the exhaust getting into the cabin??
2) Also, another point my dad brought up was that the lengths of both exhaust pipes should be equal (im planning on doing true dual) as to equalize the pressure in each pipe. Now if i were to use the stock route for the exhaust and dump right before the axle, the left exhaust would be longer(foot or two) as it has to come across the body from the header on that side. Would this cause any difference in performance?? It's a 350 and im running Hooker Super Comp 1 3/4"s w/o a Y-pipe.
3) One last question...I will be running no cat, but will need a muffler just for noise levels (neighbors, cops, etc..) Now if I were to run this true dual exhaust, could i possibly cram two mufflers right in front of the rear axle? If two dont fit, are there any companys that manufacture a dual in/dual out muffler?! Anyone know of any good deep sounding (but not extremely loud) glass packs?
Any other suggestions??

as for mufflers you may be able to fit some early Z turbo tube muflers in there like the ones the Berger 4th gens run. they are pretty small. if not, i think spintech has a dual in dual out muffler
