I replaced my pipe with a cat a couple of weeks ago and never plugged the A.I.R. is this hurting anything? Every once in a while I get code 32, but I doubt plugging the air will get rid of that.

when you say that you "replaced your pipe with a cat" do you mean that you replaced your cat with a pipe?

hopefully you do, so i will go with that...

i dont think you will hurt anything, but you will have an exhaust leak for sure. unless you have headers that dont have AIR tubes, you will.

the AIR system has nothing to do with the computer as far as throwing codes. the EGR code that you are getting may or may not be a side effect though...i dont know, but i am sure somebody here does. i doubt it though. i dont have AIR or a cat or EGR or any emissions for that matter on my car and i haven't had en EGR code since i actualy had EGR.

He's probably saying that he had a straight pipe but put a cat in it's place, that has the A.I.R hookup, I know I just had a cat welded on and the exhaust shop welded the tube closed.

I meant to say I had a cat then removed it and put on a straight pipe. sorry I was in a hurry to get to school.

Ditch the AIR. It's useless now that you don't have a cat. All it's doing now is cluttering up your engine bay and robbing your engine of power.
