Okay new BIG problem...

I was just informed from a guy i know that the hooker supercomp long tube headers will not work with heads that have the staright holes for the spark plugs. and he told me he had that problem 2 yrs ago and he even had the Accel shorty header plugs and said the tip of the plug was hittin the 3rd primary tube and couldnt get the plug even started.

i want to know if im really ****in screwed here? becuz i spent the $595 bucks for the coated headers , and another $327.53 for the mufflex y-pipe and reducer and another $411.93 for parts that will give me cleanerce from the headers like Accel 300+race wires with 90* boots, a jegs prostart starter, Percey header and collector alumin gaskets and Stage 8 lockin header bolts.

just tell me in not screwed out of $1334.46, im goin to be majorly pissed off if i am, i wont brake the parts , ill just melt them into a pile of stuff and then go shot my self.

ANY ONE PLEASE HELP ME

LOL , but ive serched on the topic of the long tube for a while and since i have them now, this one guy told me of his problem he had and i havent ever seen anyone have this problem on this site or anywhere yet or have seen anything posted about that problem. so i was just wounderin if anyone on here had this problem with these headers.

most people i see have them on the angled plug heads so that didnt help me out alot.

Do a search on my username and look for my post that has all of my notes on the installation of hooker long tubes. Point #18 in that list mentions the spark plugs. There's a guy who I mention that has straight plug heads with the long tubes. Do a search on his username and review his posts. He did something special to make it work.

I had the same problem with AFR straight plug heads & #7 hole. I got a set of Accel 416 plugs & shorted one & it works fine. I have some pics of how I did it, just need to get them scanned.

yea if u can get those on here, and how u did it that would be great becuz i have no clue how u make a spark plug shorter. and even with the accel shorty header plugs did they give a problem or did u not use those?
