Ravin installed, got some sound clips

Here are some "OK" sounds clips, taken with my pocket pc. The full throttle one shifting around 5000 rpm 1-2(some wheel spin) and 4500 2-3, pulling a moderate hill. The Ravin seems to be a quality built muffler, the case looks similiar to a flowmaster the way it's welded together. Both heavier and smaller than my old sonic turbo. At WOT it's really loud outside the car, need to get some clips. It's 3inch in and dual 2.5 out. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality construction and really, really, pleased with the sound.

Sounds to me like......Ravin.......is catching on here with other fellow 3rd gen members.......I have a 1992 Firebird with the .....Ravin..... cat back exhaust system with Camaro LT1 tips on it........I too am impressed with the quaility of constuction and sound from this exhaust system....$240.00 from Midas for ....intermidiate pipe/muffler/tails....all welded up......was a very good investment........ .

1992 Firebird LO3 V-8 Automatic, Forest Green with GFX, Black/Tan Interior, 92 GTA Power Lumbar seats/Rear decklid Spoiler/16"crosslaced rims with 245-50-16's, 4th gen am/fm cassette deck with Blaupunkt (front) Cerwin Vega 6x9 (rear) speakers.

Mods: New Radiator,180*stat,C-4 Corvette 200* fan switch,Formula Hood with 84 TA Cowl Induction unit for TBI,2002 WS6 rear springs,ES trans mount/end links,Ravin cat back exhaust system with LT1 Camaro tips,Monroe shocks/struts,1990 Trans am Tail lights,Accel Coil/8mm Yellow wires, ac delco plugs.
Upcoming Mods: Spohn Panhard Bar, WS6 24mm rear sway bar

Yep, and the sound clips don't do it justice. It sounds better than the clips. It was a toss-up between a flowmaster and the Ravin. Never been a huge fan of the 'flowmaster' sound. Picked up the Ravin used(one month)--looks new. The guy said it was too quiet , it's far from quiet. 23 bucks. Gotta love ebay.
