Ultra Flow Muffler
I saw the post below about the Dynomax Welded Ultra Flow muffler. I was thinking about adding one, but I was wondering about putting it in the 3" pipe between the rear axle and the dual CATs and then just putting a turn down on the 3" pipe before the rear axle pointed at the ground. What problems might this cause...(exhaust leaking into the car?) Thanks for any help.

I have a 2.5"x2.5"x3.5" home made y-pipe from the cats back. The 3.5" pipe goes back about 2ft from the cats, then I have a flowmaster under the passenger back seat(which the floorboard was raised 2" for the muffler)the flowmaster dumps before the axle. I dont smell much exhaust in the car but thats probably because I'm used to my eyes watering from exhaust in my 67 camaro.
