Moroso spiral flow mufflers
Has anyone ever used these or know anyone who has? I am installing long tube headers and want to just run a piece of pipe back to a small diameter muffler (4 inch ) under the back seats. I was looking at the Dyno-max bullet mufflers also .

Right before I got my liscense, my dad had a 69' SS396 Camaro. It had a mild 454 w/ LT's and those Moroso mufflers. It wasn't overly loud, had a decent tone to them. From a performance standpoint... your guess is as good as mine. The dyno don't lie - so that's the only real way to evaluate them.

The headers are Hedman with 3" collectors, I was going to use 3" pipe. I didn't think the Moroso's would be as loud as the Bullet mufflers. I think I will give them a try. For a TA, my car doesn't sit real low so I believe clearance shouldn't be much of an issue.

Well, you are going to pretty much have to run under the subframe so measure around 3-3.5 inches from the subframe and that will be about how low your exhaust will have to be. Also one problem you may run into is that I dont know that you can get the s extensions in 3" so you may have to have the pipe custom bent down around the subframe which will not be cheap.

If I get the S extentions in 2.5" would that be pretty much a bolt on setup ? Do you know how long the extentions are ? The Spiral Flow mufflers come in 2.5" also.
