Which header for Fast Burn heads?

I have a 92 Camaro RS which I am putting in a 383. My heads are the Fast Burn Aluminum angled plug heads with the D-Port exhaust ports. I am losing the computer so A.I.R. or any other emissions crap is not needed. Jim Pace parts sells a special D-Port header from Hedman, but Pace told me they were shorty's. Is a shorty header a must or can I use a long header. If anyone has used the header from Pace, let me know how you like them.

I have a zz430 with headman headers from pace. There isnt a whole lot of choices for the fastburn heads. Sanderson told me they make a header but it was only 1 1/2.
I bought the ceramic coated ones but it ended up being a nightmare. The driver side header hit the crossmember and wasnt close to working. I had to heat the header and bend it in 3 different spots. When I heated it It cooked off my 200 dollar coating. If I were you I would buy the plain headers for 168. Then see if they work OK. If it works then send it to jet Hot to get coated jet Hot will charge you about 270 but its worth waiting to see if it will work Ok. If it dosent work and you have the same problem as me you will be able to fix it before you put the ceramic on.

get either 1-3/4 SLPs or Hooker 1-3/4s for that monster. a 383 FB should kick *** . the exaust port are slightly raised on FBs and the SLPs cover a lot of room. I'm not sure about the hookers, I only know they make them 1-3/4 so you have some options. the SLPs are 50 state legal though, the hookers aren't.
