Do I need a custom bent exhaust?
My car was converted to dual cats back before I bought it. It's also got Hotchkis SFCs and one of the exhaust pipes runs from the transplanted cat under the passenger side SFC, creating low clearance on that side and causing the pipe to rattle off the SFC at high speeds. I really want to get this fixed as the low clearance has lead to some exhaust damage and I need to pass inspection soon. The guys at Jegs say that since the car was converted to dual cats the kits won't work on it, so I should just go to a muffler shop and get a custom bend.
Just wondering if anyone out there has converted to dual cats and knows of a kit that would work. Or am I better off just going to the muffler shop?
Thanks.

If the car was converted to factory GM dual cats then you don't have any worries. Any dual cat exhaust kit will work. However, if it was converted half-azzed by a derelict muffler shop, you're basically SOL.
