Flowmaster mufflers make 30HP and 40ft.lbs of Torque????
In JEGS it says that the Flowmaster 80 Series makes 30 more HP and 40 more Torque!!!!

Its called advertising. They put a stock restrictive exhaust on a big block, dyno it, then remove it and replace it with the Flowmaster and get that increase. A Thirdgen would be lucky to see 7hp from just a muffler swap alone.

I think that 30/40 is an exxageration, but it did a good deal for my friends 88 IROC 305, not bad for $80. It did more than his AFPR did and he paid about $80 for that.
