I don't think they will clear the frame on the Camaro. Were they being used in a dual system on the Monte?

i dont know how they were in, a friend of mine managed to get them, i guess they are used...he was going to put them in his monte but mentioned hed sell them to me for, like 30 bucks so i thought it might be worth at least finding out if theyd fit...i know there are better, id much rather have edelbrock or hookers but...im gettin conflicting responses now...

hmm..........i have the flowtech shorty headers, and if i remember correctly, the instructions included for them said they 78-88 Gm G bodies as well. what is the part # on the headers? are they shorty style with 1.5" primaries? if they are the shorty style, i wouldnt be suprised if they fit, but i would like to see a part number, then i could tell you. i cant remember what the part # is for my headers, i will check when i get home.

as for reasons on why a person would use the flowtechs:

1. they are cheap

2. they are excellent quality for the money (excpet the crappy gaskets, get the flowtech rea-seal dead soft aluminum gaskets)

3. the ones for 3rd gens fit great, on both sides.

4. the 1.5" primaries are good for a 305

5. they are headers and as a result are way better than factory exhaust manifolds
