82 camaro exhaust
hey guys... my bro-in-law just gave me my next toy.. an 82 camaro sc. its got the dreaded 2.8 v6 w/ stock manifolds and all piping... i wont have the $$$ for a while for the big engine swap.. so in the meantime would it be worth it to dual it out? also what are some other things i could do to increase performance?
thanx

Do you really want duals, or do you just want performance? If you really want duals, you can do a search on this board, there are pics of other guys duals somewhere. If all you want is better performance, I would think that a simple 2-1/2" single with a free flowing muffler would help. Granted, the duals would probably sound meaner, it just depends what you want. As far as other mods, assuming you mean inexpensive, just having it in tune would be the most basic thing you could do. Another would be a K&N air filter. Not being too familiar with your 2.8, that's what I have off the top of my head. Hope this helps
