I have a problem... DOn't we all... anyways... I have on my camaro (check the specs below) I set of Edelbrock TES header system... So far they are fine.. but they are rusting like a M***F***. I have sanden and apply a speciall HTC spray paint, but to no avail.. it is still rustin... specially the Y pipe.
I am looking in to some alternatives.. something that will over the rust proctection all the way to the Y pipe.. any ideas
What about those thing were you send you headers and they ceramic coatead for you? Should I invest on that?
Please advice
Thanks

Hey Fulo I have that same set of headers and I love mine. I sent mine down to Jet-Hot in AZ and had them coated with their Sterling Silver coat. It cost around $175 but as far as I'm concerned, it was worth twice that much. They guarantee them for life against rust thru. They shine like polished aluminum, and all it takes to clean them is sprayin' them off @ the car wash. The crappy thing is that you have to remove them from your car to get them done. It takes 72 hours for them to return them to you (usually). The only thing that I ran into was the coating ran into the threads for the O2 sensor, but a quick chase with a spark plug hole chaser and I was golden. I'll attach a couple of pics of mine so you can see.

I sent mine to the same place. It's well worth the cash. My SLP 1-3/4" cost me around 211$ to get done.
