exhaust tips

how exactly do new exhaust tips help ur car. do they make it any louder other than the extra performance some of them give.

they change the sound depending on the shape. Megaphone tips will amplify the sound.

Axle/Gears: 3.73 posi with spacer
All they do is make the car look cooler, or better. They may also add some sound.

they change it a little

If you want a better sound, get a muffler. If you want better flow, get a catback. If you want the best sound and flow, get headers and catback.

The louder your exhaust the more differance your tip will make(but don't count on too much)tip size ie 2" 3", length, rolled end all this will make a small change.
headers etc will make the big changes, I suppose you already know that.
