accel plugs

DO NOT GET THESE PLUGS! Accel shortie header plugs, they suck so much ***, and they foul out the week u get them. Dont get these, u can unscrew the end off, meaning less efficient spark if it coems loose. Just thought Id warn u guys if u didnt know already.

I've been running the 276S since November. Not a misfire yet.

I had them sitting around since 1996 (order mixup), so it's possible something happened to their quality control in the 5+ years since. But, I can't complain.

I could have told you that. I had the shorty kind for headers. And the tips kept coming loose, happens to several on these boards too.

Maybe post this on the aftermarket review board.

Platinum will last longer, but copper conducts better.

i got almost 2 years out of my first set of accel plugs. i changed them when i put my 383 in but there were still clean so i saved them for spares. i have nothing but good things to say about those plugs myself.

The only thing I've had good luck with using accel is there coils. There spark plugs and wires suck. The spark plugs tips keep coming off along with the spark plug wires. Both fo them suck.

You can screw the end of any sparkplug off, just don't take it off and it will be fine. If engine vibrations loosen it up, you didn't tighten it enough. The plugs fouling isn't because of the plugs.
