First off, BEAUTIFUL car man!!! :hail: But the stripes around the GFX's aren't my thing. Anyway... If I had the $ I'd go with GMMG, but a very good alternative that is also ALOT less $ is hooker catback. It's like 200$, but you'll need to have a shop weld it up cause it's designed for a different connection to the cat. Mark should be here sooner or later to show ya what it sounds like. It's a great system for the price, and also outflows almost everything else out there. People have had problems with the fit of the borla system, and for over 500$ I just don't think it's worth it. I have the flowmaster on mine right now, and don't get me wrong, it sounds better than stock - but just about EVERY domestic out there has flowmaster and it's not unique. And it doesn't flow very well either(kinda ironic eh? Flowmaster, get it??? :sillylol: ) I'm getting hooker catback as soon as I can afford it and headers.

due to mark i think every thirdgen is going to have a hooker catback
anyways, most all aftermarket street mufflers are going to flow about the same. does stainless steel make a difference?

Sorry guys, just got back from the movies (The Rookie is a good one to see). Sound clip is in the signature.
Most cat-backs will flow equally on our setups, but once you start building some serious HP the Hooker will be among the best.
Paid $200 for mine and had to have some fabrication.

1988 5.7 IROC, I like the stripes also. I'd say go with GMMG (what does that stand for?) or Borla. Of course for the price of GMMG, you could have a custom exhaust or custom dual exhaust made for your car.
