LS1 and T-56 6 speed swap in 3rd gen.
I'm thinking of swapping my current 305 lb9 tpi and Th-700R4 tranny for the better LS1 350 and T-56 6 speed. Has anyone done this? How difficult was the process, or how much did you pay for someone to do it?

yeah ppl have done it. just do a search for 'ls1' in this forum and 't56 in the tranny forum and you will find all the answers. be prepared to spend alot of cash. the main holdups for the engine swap are the engine mounts and dealing with the ECU. the tranny swap will be alot smoother than the engine swap. but yes it is possible.
