has any here bought a GM GOODWRENCH 350 (250hp)
Are you happy with the performance of the engine?
Did you dyno the engine when you bought it?
What Heads, Carb, Exhaust did you use?
Thanks for any info

I have a stock one in my 1987 Fiero (MAJOR swap job--), and really like it. I have not used a chassis dyno, or taken it to the track, but it will consistently show around 220 HP on my G-Tech. I would guess that works out to about 270 HP at the crank.
I have 1990 SD TPI, 19.8 #injectors, early tri-y cast iron exhaust manifolds, 3" hi flo cat and Flowmaster. I have burned my own prom to get the tune where I want it, and to pass Smog here in CA.
So far, I have 24k (miles) on it, and it is running better than ever.

How is a Supercharger cheaper than a new engine? I've seen them go for $3 grand and up if I remember correctly.
My GM Goodwrench 350 cost me $700 and change. I was pricing 350's w/ install at a little under $3 grand.

My GM 350 replacement motor runs great, it could use a little more power, but if you put a cam and a set of vortec heads on it you will be set.
