Stumbling at idle... no torque
Hey guys i 350 swapped my 89 formula 305 with the auto. Tbi to Tbi just plug and play. I didn't replace the computer though. It has a rough idle so i figured it was out of time. So we adjusted the timing to where it idled nice and it stalled soon as you put it in gear. With no other option we turned it back so its driveable but it has 0 bottom end. It has alittle more if you put it in a lower gear but if your in drive forget about spinning the tires. What do you guys think? It runs ok at higher rpms cruising.

Advance the timing from wherever it is. (turn the dist body CCW) Pay NO attention to "mark", tab", "light", "spec", etc. Just advance it, maybe 20° or so,. which is roughly ˝" around the circumference of the dist. See where that takes you.
