400 sbc knock sensor?
I dont know if i am in the right board for this question but any help would be appreciated. i have a 400 sbc with headers and loud exhaust. I read somewhere a 305 knock sensor in a 350 will cause it to read a knock when it shouldnt. So does the same apply to a 350 knock sensor to a 400? And how sensitive are the knock sensors could my loud exhaust be tripping it too? i have my TBI computer tuned to a hot 350 now (thats what i had in there before i did the 400 swap) i put the same camshaft in my 400 that i had in my 350. So the only difference is now i am running more cubic inches and more compression (11.5 compression in the 400).

Knock sensor goes with bore dia.
Usually a 350 one works OK with a 400; I've known that to be used successfully before. Try it and see.
Loud exhaust doesn't bother em.
