1987 Firebird 350 tpi TO 1986 Camaro IROC-Z

Afternoon,
I purchased a 350 TPI to rebuild and install in my IROC-Z and was wondering if there any tough lessons learned.

I was looking at the tech sheet and the 86 did receive the 350 TPI in the last production run of that year. look's like I will have to change my rear end gears to Borg-Warner 3.27 gears.

I read the305 / 350 Swap data sheet and understand the procedures.

The new motor (which has 97k) will have to be rebuilt, but my engine shop is stating that all the sensors won't talk to the computer and I will have to build it to stock specifications.

The new motor is coming with the complete wire harness and computer, along with all the sensors.

I would like to keep my runners and plenum, along with the fuel rails (changing the injectors to 21lb).

Will all the components that are in pristine condition be able to be swapped right over to the 87 motor?

Will I be able to run a 200 amp alternator with the new engine?
