lb8 to 455???
i have a 89 firebird it has a 2.8 in it right now but im thinking about doin an engine swap and i want alot of power if i got a 455 and the tranny for it would it fit right in? and also would i have to change the drive shaft?

You will need to get the mounts for it, but since your 2.8 is EFI, you'll have to change your PCM, as the one for the V6 will not work on V8s. Drive shaft may need to get replaced, but you'll have to check to see if it's replacable.
I'm not a know-it-all, but as far as my knowledge and research goes, that's what would be necessary.
