MOTOR PLATES
I have a 99 firebird that i just bought that was a previous drag car. It was originally a v6 but it has custom fabbed motor mounts for a chevy 350.there is no wiring harness and i am putting in another carbed 350 but i would like to wire a few accesories like lights and turn signals and all neccasary gauges. how hard is that from experince? anyone ever used motor plates?

Re: MOTOR PLATES
If your talking about a solid front motor and you start hooking the car hard, without a mid plate your going to start to cracking tranny cases.
One idea about engine and mid plates is for the use in full tube frame cars to transfer torque. When you sub in those plates in a sub frame car it isn't as effective.
