tired 305tbi 92 camaro swap for 350ci Q's
Hi guys, I am being given an 1973 C-10 truck 350ci 4-bolt main engine and have a few Q's as far as what all i need to complete this swap and make it tuned port injected. I understand that my car being TBI that i am going to have to change the fuel pump and lines because of the higher pressure but can i actually put that setup on that block? also will i have to buy custom brackets to bolt up all the accessorys? Basicly what im trying to achieve is a stock looking 5.7 TPI. All suggestions and knowledge would be greatly appreciated as i start this build.

Your accessories will bolt right up, no issue there (as long as the heads have accessory bolt holes in them).
No need for fuel lines, yours are fine - you will need to swap to a TPI pump.
You'll need the entire TPI setup, and complete TPI wiring harness, with ECM.
You'll have intake issues maybe, but no biggie - might have to drill out the center 4 bolt holes to change the angle of those bolts - some heads have a different angle on the 4 center bolt holes.
Might need a custom chip burned, depending on the heads of the doner engine - TPI ECM looking for certain things (like flow) that those heads may allow more or less of.
The easiest way to drop in the 350 is to keep the TBI, use a 350 TBI prom from a Caprice or truck, a 350 TBI knock sensor, and 350 injectors in your TBI - way less expense and work.

You 1992 car is not a 305 "HO" - those were only 1984 and 1985 car I believe with carbed 305's - no "HO's" after 1987 for sure (no carbs after 1987), so unless you've swapped in "HO" heads from an earlier year car, your heads are not the "HO" heads. And I believe the "HO" motors were more of an intake/cam issue rather than anything different in the heads.
1992 TBI is the dreaded swirl-port heads, they are truly junk - almost no matter what the 350 has on it, it will be better than those 305 heads.

About the only thing that could possible be worse than 305 swirlport heads is factory '73 truck heads.
