Its not a wise choice. Furthermore, it isn't unique. It's a waste of money when you could put the same $ into a 350 and be better off. A few minutes with the search feature and you will read all kinds of reasons why this is a bad idea.

Kit only makes it a 335 - like mentioned not dollar efficient and a generally bad idea - go 350.

Too many variables. Providing everything else stays the same (cam, heads, etc) you're only increasing the displacement from 305 to 334. A good performance engine should be able to make 1 HP per CID. Putting a stroker kit into a 305 and changing nothing else, you should be able to make 29 more HP.
Changing the 305 to a 350 is a better investment as it allows more potential for improvements.
