Car: 1984 Camaro z28
Engine: 350 small block
Transmission: 350 Turbo
1990 camaro
im looking at get a 1990 rolling chass no engine no tranny and i had 2 questions 1 if the wireharness has been cut up to bad to use again is it replaceable and 2 i believe the 90-92 engine were tpi would it require mods to put a carb engine in there?

8th digit of VIN will tell you what engine factory had in it - could have been a V6, a 305 TBI, a 305 TPI, or a 350 TPI.
No major modding to put a carbed motor in it - all you use is the driver side wiring harness. You'll need to feed it fuel (1 carb pickup & mech pump, or 2 in-tank fuel pump with regulator, or 3 carb pickup and external fp). If it's an automatic you'll need a method of locking torque converter. Same as any carb swap in these cars.
