Re: v6 to 327 thm 350
welcome, i dont quite understand what you mean? you want to swap from v6 to an 327 small block and then swap to an 350 small block? This doesnt make since, pick 1 engine, not two.
From experience everyone will tell you to do an 350 or bigger swap and to not deal with an 327. Honestly i do like the 327 and i can understand why you would want to go larger so i suggest, unless you have some real reason to go 350 or bigger. Good luck.
Sorry, i cant really help you with the h/c/i unless you consider fuel injection, then i know an bit in that department.

THM 350 is a transmission AKA turbo-hydramatic 350

Re: v6 to 327 thm 350
yea i don't want 2 engines that would be a wast of time lol!!!!
as far as engine size dosent the 327 share the same block as a 350?
the reason for me going with the 327 is my freind had it for his buick but when he realized that its 305 had super low miles all the service documents he wants it to stay orignal so i am geting his 327 for cheep
as far as fuel injection i want to keep this simple with as little electrical as posable with the execption of a electric fan in front of the fan to free up space

OK i get you sorry haha. Im not an expert but i belive you can use an 350 block with an diffrent size crank and you end up with an 327. I would personally go for it but many otheres will say not to, totaly up to you and if you can get it for cheap compared to an 350 then, yes i would do the swap!

Re: v6 to 327 thm 350
the good news is that you can put a 3.75"-stroke crank in any 3970010 block, and build a 383. The bad news is that the TH350 is a quadrouple failure: (1) crappy gearing (2) no overdrive (3) no converter lock on the strong versions (4) no torque arm provision.
Sell it and find a better trans. The 200-4R has the best ratios, but is difficult to mount. Still, it does have lockup and overdrive, plus uses the same driveshaft as a TH350.

You can get a set of 400 rods and using 350 pistons or you can use 5.7 rods or 6 inch (aftermarket) with custom pistons. That being said if you don't know what a stroker is i'd start off smaller and focus more on getting the engine in and running.
