305 TBI to 350 TPI
Hi everyone, please help if you can. First off, I love my car! 1991 Camaro RS: 305 5.0 TBI, 5 speed manual, 3.08 rear. Body work done and ready to be painted.
I have aquired a 350 block and a used TPI unit. I need to know what else I will have to swap out of the car before I can swap blocks, such as computer, etc, etc.
The block will be bored .30 over and honed, cleaned and deck resurfaced. I also have two camel hump heads that will need redone, is it worth it to have these heads from the 350 redone or reuse the old heads from 305?
The old engine runs good but I want to do the new engine right the first time. It is my secong motor rebuild but first on a computer controlled car.
Any help greatly appreciated.
