pulling and converting to carburated.
I plan on pulling my motor, and re-doing all of the gaskets, and swapping it to carburated. I am putting a holly 600 carb and a edelbrock performer intake. I still need a distributor. If yos see any thing i am doing wrond, or have any tips, let me know. also i need to find a place to get parts that are good, and decent on price. thanks for the help.

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.
Assuming you're talking about the car in your user info, putting a carb on is illegal in all 50 states.
Legality aside, still assuming you're talking about the car in your user info, since you have a 5-speed manual transmission, the carb should be mechanical secondaries (aka, "double pumper"). Don't put a vacuum secondary carb on your car.
Unless you have a discount auto parts store or speed shop locally, it's hard to beat Summit and Jegs for price. Sometimes you can do better on eBay, but you're taking a risk there.
Don't forget you need to replace the stock distributor with a vacuum/mechanical advance unit. And, the intake manifold should be the '87-up application so you don't have to modify mount bolt holes (more expensive than the "normal" Performer intake).
Out of curiosity, why are you doing this?
