confused bout ECM/CPU between camaro and firebird
Engine swap:
removed v6 & trans from firebird and dropped in v8 305 & trans from camaro of the same year. How should we handle the wire harness ECM/CPU? What else is needed, what else should i know bout completion of this swap?

To the best of my knowledge there shouldn't be any difference Camaro/Firebird in that year.
The only V6 thing that gets in the way is brake lines - easy to fix.

Yeah thanks for the info.....my 305 & trans is from a Berlinetta, I'm going to miss her it's time to let her go far to much rust to work through. As for the exhaust I'm using factory manifolds for now (just want 2 get bck on the road) any suggestions to an inexpensive temporary exhaust. Planning on using factory Y pipe without cat would like to just dump the tail pipe in front of rear tire. What do u think? Summit sales universal round cylinder mufflers for under $50 12inch long w/3" inlet/outlet. Thanks again for the support.

Where do you live? I've got one I'll give you; y-pipe, cat (looks new), cat-back, great sounding muffler off of a California car.
