Okay I'm ordering all of my stuff that I haven't gotten to this week, and realized something. I have no pushrods. What do I do about this, there are about a million different lengths, and two different styles, cup or ball? And they are made from steel, chrome moly, or hardened? Confusing, how do I know which length I would need, which style, and lastly what should they be made out of?

You have to wait until things are assembled to measure the correct length of pushrods you'll need.

Oh and with everything I'm doing, am I going to be able to use my stock guage cluster?

Okay good. Basically what I was asking is if the guage cluster was part of my computer, cause when I swap the motor it's not going to be CC.

The computer and the gauges have nothing to do with each other.

Okay, I think I'm down to my last question as for parts buying. I have a problem spending money on an intake manifold, that has the same specs as one made by summit. The part numbers are Sum-226019 and EDL-7516. They both have a 1,500-6,000 RPM range, both for vortec, and both made of aluminum. The only difference is the Edelbrock on is the "air-gap" type. Does it really help that much that I'd spend the extra money on it?
Or should I just go single plane?

Look again - the Summit manifold is also an "air gap" design. "For even more power, we added an open area under the plenum, which provides airflow to keep the fuel/air charge cooler." They can't call it "air gap", because that is an Edelbrock registered trademark.
Single plane on the street is a poor choice.

Thanks Five7kid, I honestly didn't see that in the ad for the summit plenum.

Re: Is this a good build?
Okay so I know it has been a while, but I scrapped the vortec idea about 3 months ago because I didn't like how they pulled compared to my friends AFR 195 eliminators. I got everything else I said I was going to, but on a street pull he got me by at least two cars with the AFR's, and a holley 750DP. He was also in a Monte Carlo, which I'm pretty sure is heavier. I was dissapointed. If I were to go to the AFR 195's, would I have to pick a new cam, or is my Voodoo 60103 still a good choice?

In addition, what are the rest of the specs on your car? Suspension goes a LONG way into making a car fast. It's no sense in dropping in a 500 hp motor if you don't have posi.

Re: Is this a good build?
I wasn't disappointed in the Vortecs they did their job. More so the fact that I thought I was gonna beat him.
Good point on the rear, I need to update my info. I have a 10 bolt posi with 373s.
