TBI-CARB swap tbi throttle cable too long?

i thought i remeber reading on here that usually a tbi throttle cable works well for tbi/tpi-carb swaps but my tbi cable is over an inch too long. i have a holley carb and the throttle cable is adjusted all the way and its still too long. i was wondering if anybody else is or did experience anythign like this. any input would be appreciated. thanks

Go to the Chevy dealer and ask them for the TV and the throttle cables for an 86 LG4 (Carbed) Z/28.

I used both Holley carb brackets pns 510-20-95 and 510-20-121 with those cables and it all fits perfectly.

Holley should make a bracket that will also mount the cruise control cable.

With the manual trans there is no need for the relocation bracket.

The throttle cable is not very expesive. I think it was less than $25 and they should be able to get it in a day or two.
