L99 or LT1?

I was wondering if the blocks are marked with the engine size like most 350 or 305 are. Because I found a good deal on an LT1 from a caprice and I just want to make sure it is the 350 version before I buy it.

Re: L99 or LT1?

I will be marked 5.7L if it's a 5.7 LT1. I believe the 4.3's are marked the same.
