What is the value of LT1 w/forged r. assembly
I already have a stock LT1 engine I want to put in my car, but I was just offered a built LT1 and I'm wondering if its worth the money. Here is what he said about the engine when I asked for details. He was asking $2000 for complete engine including harness and pcm, I was thinking of making an offer of $1750 for everything plus a dual fan setup. Do you think its worth it?
Block is .030 over and decked
complete fordged rotating ***. by Eagle (balanced)
Free floating pistons (10.75comp), H beam connecting rods
Crank has +.010 stroke on both ends and +.010 larger bearings
comp cam .538/.531 lift, 274/276 dur. 1.6 RR non self align, w/ guideplates
new hyd. lifters, oil pump
Stock heads w/ ss manly valves and 3 angle valve job, 59cc
stock intake w/ 52mm throttle body, 32lb inj.
I have receipts on all engine work done.
Im selling it cause the car was wrecked. The engine is fine and was not hurt at all. I believe i only put about 3,000 miles on it if that? Then engine was never dynoed but the car was making 354 at the rear wheels. That should be good for about 425 crank.

I emailed the guy about it, hopefully I'll hear back today. Still would like some opinions on this.

Re: What is the value of LT1 w/forged r. assembly
he said its in perfect condition, nothing wrong with it, and can be dropped in and ran as is. Only 3000 miles on it. And I got some good news today. We struck a deal for $1800. I'll be going to pick it up within a couple weeks. Man this has been a trip. I just bought an LT1, now I need to sell it cause I just bought "another" one. I'm not gonna complain though. I can run a 200 or 300 shot of nitrous on this baby easy. It will be an easy 600 ponies if I really want it. Definitely gonna have to start lookin into a T56 now, along with a new rear end, and a ton of other goodies so I dont twist my baby into a pretzel...lol.....damn I'm excited.
