75 impala 350
I currently have a 88 camaro with a real tired tbi 305. My buddy's father has a old 350 from a 1975 impala that had all of 30k miles on it and was never beat on. His dad offered to give me the engine for free, which is of course the best possible price. I'm definitely gonna take it off his hands, but I was just wondering if anyone has any idea what kind of numbers these engines put out back in the day. Thanks in advance.

A little bit less than your LO3.
Needs heads and cam, along with exhaust, to do any better.

Re: 75 impala 350
the engine will make about 170 hp. im using a similar engine, but a '78. youre going to have problems, because the engine you want to use has a two piece rear main seal, as opposed to a one piece.

use a set of 305 heads to kick up the compression. on your engine the compression is 8.5:1 at best. put 1.94, and 1.6 valves in the heads, and do some mild porting. as far as a carb a 650 holley should be fine, with an edelbrock intake. and id upgrade the ignition.

First, you should only bore it .030". A third of an inch is a bit more than the cylinder walls can take.
305 heads can be anything 3rd gen except LO3 - which is what you have, of course. LG4, LB9 would be fine. Choose pistons accordingly, a slight dish with valve reliefs would probably do the best.

What a coincidence, I used an impala block too. Lemme guess, 010 block? "high nickel"? Join the masses
Read my sig for what I did with it, on budget, as my first motor build. It involved 416 heads and some porting, a decent cam, and i'm laughing (sorta).
