Engine: L98:D,L03:<

Transmission: 700r4x2

Axle/Gears: 3.23 bw, 2.73 10 bolt.

the double swap

k i just bought a gta as a parts car for my 25th ann. rs. l98 g80 rear ws6 and so on, i can get a buick t type for two g's, body is basically junk but im thinkin post l98 swap, ill have a gta body,, and i could make a tta clone. anyone done this swap? tranny shouldnt be an issue, both have 700 r4's right? id have the whole wiring harness, the whole car,, so how hard would this be? i think the increased value of a tta clone would pay for the purchase of the t type, just wondering about the feasability

Wrong. The 700 only comes in a Chevy bolt pattern. The trans in the Buick is a 200-4R, without the torque arm provision that it needs in order to be installed in a F car.

Good luck. I sure wouldn't bet on it. Especially considering, you'll still be a LONG WAY from a TTA clone. You got no exhaust, the wrong head sto fit in your car with A/C, and maybe some other costly things that have to be addressed before it's a "clone".
