Car: 1984 15th Anv. T/A
Engine: HO 5.0
Transmission: TH700r4
Axle/Gears: not sure yet!
im doing almost the same thing.
but mine is carb'd
for sure you will need a new transmission, cuz the v6 one won't work
with that you will need a new crossmember and driveshaft, depending on what trans you get, i think the stock torque arm might work, you will have to ask others about that.
you will need new motor mounts for the v8, the nice thing about this is, if later on down the road you want to swap in a 350, the 305 motor mounts will work for it. you will need to move the brake lines as they are in the way on the crossmember where the new mounts will go. with the added weight you are gonna want to get strong front shocks and swaybar.
a new radiator will be needed because the old radiators hoses came out in a different spot than the v8 radiators.
i dont know about what you need to do with the computer stuff, or if you are going carb'd, but im pretty sure if you wanna stay computer controlled you need a new computer, and prolly better off getting a whole new wiring harness, not a hundred percent sure though.
as for exhaust, im sure you could prolly figure out how to make the v6 exhaust work, but might as well put a good exhaust system on it, while your under there, cuz you will regret it later.
if you are going carb'd there are a couple different steps, but thats almost it.
sorry if thats not everything, its hard trying to think of it all, and the differences of what im doing to what you are doing.

Car: 13 Ram 1500/ 78 Formy
Engine: 5.7 / 7.4
Transmission: 6sp / TH350
Axle/Gears: 3.55 posi / 3.23
drive shafts should be the same for the A4/5sp.
torque arm doesn't change.
tranny k-mbr wont change if sticking w/same type of tranny.
only brake mod will be to unbolt the front line on the k-mbr & push it back to clear the motor mounts.
get reg carb w/vacuum type dizzy.
v6 cat convertor back cain fit, but may as well upgrade while your there, I had teh dynomax cat back already on mine when I did my final engien swap in the bird, and had no issues.
yes, the final swap went from a 3800 II to a 305 carb, and I had teh engien, tranny, dash, & harness's for both.

Yes you will need to wire up the alt, dist, starter, and fans. If the donor car is complete then you shoud have no problems just transfering parts.
