86 TransAm 305 Carb to L98 Carb Questions.
Sorry about this but I've read about 500 threads on here and still can't find the answer I've been looking for. I currently have an 86 TransAm with a 4 Barrel CCQ-Jet LG4 305, but I recently purchased back the L98 motor I had in my old 89 GTA(that had a TPI intake on the top of it). What I wanna do for now until I get some cash for a non comp controlled setup is put the existing carb/intake/distrib from the LG4 onto the L98 block. Seeing as my LG4 has side bolt valve covers and my L98 350 has center bolt valve covers I read that the stock carb intake won't bolt up due to the holes something about drilling? Can anyone gimme a clear answer on this. I've searched but can't get a clear answer from what I've read been digging through this forum for awhile looking to no avail. It's basically going to be LG4 longblock out and L98 longblock in. So ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated
Anyways thanks in advance if anyone has a clear answer for me. Please reply.

you goober, I've told you that you'll have to enlongate the 4 middle intake bolts for it to fit the center bolt heads.
Dremel tool FTW!!!!
I've seen quite a bunch of threads on this in the engine swap section, but no pics as to the before/after on the intake itself.
