305 TBI to 350 TBI conversion
what you have do to build a 350 TBI? could you use a fuel system and ECM from a 305 TBI. what are the differences? could you mount a TBI injected system on a 350 HO crate engine like the one avaible through hawks third gen? could you make that engine emissions legal if you used proper air injection system with smog pump, and proper sensors? i was just wondering what i would have to do to have a street legal 350 powered car. i currently have a 305 RS TBI car(1998) and will probably stay with the 305 until it gets tired. its a good runner, dependable and fair on power. i will do a high flow exuast next summer to give some more power, but eventually it will get tired and i will probably go with a 350 at that point and just wanted to know what options will exist in the future.

This topic is VERY, VERY, VERY (you get the point) common...
Here's the quick answers....
...A Lot of tuning, bigger injectors, new fuel pump, bigger TB
...YES, the is no such thing as a 350 TBI ECM.
...YES, I run TBI on a 350HP GM 350 H.O. Crate.
...YES, tuning is important to emissions, though

The ECM in your RS is a better starting point than an ECM from a Chevy/GMC Truck. By changing them you would need even more tuning to run the way you want.
